Sciatica

Sciatica is horrific! When we think of the worst type of back pain, this is generally what we think of. The sharp, stabbing, shooting pain down the back of the leg, the dull aching, throbbing pain in the back, the numbness, the tingling. When someone says they have sciatica, we know what they are experiencing, and we pity them. The good news? We can help!

Sciatica is caused by compression and resulting stretch on the sciatic nerve that runs from the low back into the back of the legs, one on each side. Typically though, there are many complexities when this happens and even surgery isn’t very successful.
